The 2025 edition of the Custodian’s mentorship programme – Custodian Mentors Conference holds on Saturday, 23rd August 2025. This is the 7th edition in the series since its commencement in 2018.

Meet our Mentors

Mr. Abimbola Olashore, an Engineering Graduate from the University of Hull, UK, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and holds an MBA from IESE Business School, Spain.

He began his career at Deloitte in 1987, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1990. He joined LeadBank in 1991, becoming Managing Director in 2000. In 2006, he moved to Ecobank Transnational Group as Executive Director of Wholesale Banking.

In July 2007, Mr. Olashore became CEO of LeadCapital Plc, transforming it into an investment banking firm with subsidiaries in stockbroking, asset management, and advisory services. He stepped down in December 2015.

He now consults for Lead Advisory Partners, working with Nigerian Emerging Corporates and SMEs, and is active in Nigeria's educational and agricultural sectors. Mr. Olashore serves on various boards and councils, including:

Olajumoke Adenowo is an esteemed architect, recognised for her leadership, business acumen, and philanthropic endeavours. In 1994, she founded AD Consulting, a firm specialising in architecture and interior architecture. The firm has been instrumental in designing and constructing over 139 projects, including institutional buildings, office complexes, mixed-use developments, and more, catering to both international and national clients.

Ms. Adenowo is an authority in Architecture, the Arts, Leadership, Youth, and Women’s Empowerment. She frequently addresses international summits and conferences such as the McKinsey Executive Leadership Platform, Harvard Business School, SOLVE at MIT, and Haust Der Kunst (Munich), among others.

She has received numerous accolades, including the Forbes Woman African Entrepreneur Award in 2020 and the New African Businesswoman of the Year award in 2016. In 2024, Ms. Adenowo was included in the Forbes Europe, Middle East, and Africa: 50 Over 50 list. Additionally, she serves on various leadership and board positions, including Flutterwave Inc.

Ms. Adenowo is also a Chartered Arbitrator and a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Architects. In 2019, she was appointed Visiting Professor and Guest Laureate at Technische Universität München, Germany. In 2024, she received an honorary Doctor of Science in Business Administration from Benson Idahosa University.

Since 2011, she has hosted "Voice of Change," a syndicated radio broadcast and podcast focused on leadership. Through her faith-based philanthropic organization, Awesome Treasures, she mentors over 300 individuals.

Ms. Adenowo is an alumna of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, IESE Business School, Yale University, MIT Sloan School of Management, and University of Ile Ife. She is a published author and is the first African and Black architect published by Rizzoli through her monograph “NeoHeritage.”

Abolaji David Banjoko, known professionally as Beejay Sax, is a gospel saxophonist and Mechanical Engineering graduate from Ogun State University. He has released two albums and is the convener of the Beejay Sax Live Concert, a gospel event promoting ethical and spiritual music.

Beejay Sax has performed at international gospel events such as The Experience and Night of Worship, sharing the stage with artists like Donnie McClurkin, Nathaniel Bassey, and Travis Greene.

Known for his unique, rich tone, he created the 'Online Praise Party' to offer a worship experience from home during the global pandemic. Highly regarded within and beyond Nigeria, Beejay Sax aims to share his music worldwide. He is happily married and blessed.
